This one-day course will give foundational skills to workers who are overseeing contractors. Participants will learn ways to hold contractors accountable to the terms and conditions of the contract. Students will improve knowledge and competencies of staff in vendor management, increase tools in dealing with low performance vendors and remedy the lack of performance, and understand the need to document specific events when a vendor does not comply with contract. Participants will also discover why and how building relationships with a vendor can payoff throughout the management of the contract.
