Professional Services provides technical support to various agencies throughout the State of Kansas. Professional Services provides Enterprise End User Technical Support, and Enterprise Desktop as a Service (DTaaS) to our customers so they receive a professional, accurate and timely resolution to their requests.

End User Services

End User Support provides IT technical assistance and consulting for Government organizations in Kansas. Enterprise End User Technical Support is responsible for supporting the gateway for the user to access the server network and desktop systems. The technical team administers mission critical systems used by agencies such as the Governor’s Office, Department of Administration, Division of Budget, Office of Information Technology Services as well as smaller agencies that do not have their own IT staff.

Desktop as a Service (DTaaS)

The Desktop as a Service (DTaaS) program provides State of Kansas (SoK) executive branch agencies with a solution to lease desktops, laptops, and tablets along with services that include asset tagging, warranty exchanges, repairs, and imaging services, as applicable. OITS provides general oversight and management of the DTaaS program. Oversight activities include, but not limited to:

  • Coordination of orders
  • Responding to customer inquiries
  • Supplier management
  • Resolving program issues

New Program – Dell

Effective June 2022, the DTaaS program offering is serviced by Dell Technologies.
